About Us
Devver (pronounced like "developer", not "devious") was a small software company based in Boulder, CO. We built tools that used the cloud to radically improve the way developers work.
As of May 2010, we have shut down.
Devver's investors included O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, David Cohen, Pete Dignan, Tom Higley, and David Jilk.
We're proud to be one of the TechStars 2008 companies.
Founders
Dan Mayer
Code Farmer
Dan has been fascinated with the Internet ever since he put up his first GeoCities page. Following that, he started a web business in high school with Ben. Graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in computer science, followed by working on peer-to-peer systems and large-scale websites for a few years prepared him for startup life. At Devver, he's primarily in charge of writing code and figuring out upcoming features.
Ben Brinckerhoff
Customer Advocate
Ben developed a passion for software testing and verification while writing automated testing systems for IDEs and compilers at Microsoft. He spends most of his time at Devver talking to customers, providing technical support, and, whenever possible, writing code.
